Adelaide Creative Collective

Having fallen in love with Adelaide's burgeoning creative & night life scene, the blackline hosted an evening for the creatives of Adelaide; to not only celebrate the local creative scene but also give back to the city that has continuously supported my work and sold out workshop after workshop.

Curating a talented local team of creatives and innovative small businesses - including Enough Studio, Flowers by Leiko, Dylan Lee Photography, Kiera Blanden Events & Styling, Modern Party Hire and Alpha Box & Dice - we put together a beautifully styled tablescape and then rolled the night into a fromage & sparkling evening with an intimate, hand-picked group of Adelaide's finest creatives & creative minds.

Enough Studio, a hairdressing salon in the heart of Hyde Park is run by Lisa Nguyen who also hires the space out for beautiful intimate events & yoga classes (This space is hands down one of the best that I've ever worked in as it's not only easily transformable but is the perfect blank canvas and layout - and wait until you meet Lisa! She makes running events in her space a piece of cake!)

Annie from Flowers by Leiko & Kiera Blanden brought my vision to life with beautiful soft blush tones mixed with deep reds, gold and black. And Modern Party Hire not only had a beautiful range to choose from but also customer service to match! I could not have asked for a better team to work with in terms of their service and delivery! (And I can't emphasise how incredibly easy they made my life - especially when I was organising the event from interstate!)

Alpha Box Dice, whose McLaren Vale cellar door I haunt regularly (Not because I have a problem but because their wine is so carefully considered, beautifully designed and most importantly tastes like heaven) contributed some of their Zaptung Prosecco; a must try for any sparkling lover! The sparkling perfectly complimented the fromage feast and the elated mood of the evening.

And last but not least, Dylan Lee captured the magic beautifully and made us all feel at ease with his easy-going attitude that belies his talent & incredible attention to detail. I loved working with Dylan so much I'm flying him up to Sydney to shoot another event so that should summarise how good he is!

In essence, this event was a huge success thanks to the incredible team behind it and hopefully the first of many other events celebrating the Adelaide creative scene.

Amongst the sponsors, guests included representatives from - The Stylists Guide Adelaide, Greta Kate Bridal, Magnolia Press, Bluebelle Studio, Drummer Marketing, Montana Papas Illustration, Paper Parade, Little Car Photography & Gemma Vendetta Beauty.
